Welcome to the Wickford Centre. Easy access by public transport, free parking and much cheaper than the large hotels in the area makes this centre an ideal location to hold your meetings, conferences, launch days, exhibitions and training events. The Wickford Centre staff are friendly and experienced and have an excellent reputation for quality of service and high standards of customer care. The centre is situated in the peace and quiet of its own grounds. It has a large car park and several outside decking areas where delegates can relax. It boasts a large hall, four training rooms, including a dedicated IT suite where requests for additional software can be met by prior agreement. All rooms are equipped with multimedia projectors, interactive whiteboards, laptops, DVD/VHS video players, flip charts and wireless access. This is all standard with no additional charge. The centre benefits from being in the country; no outside noise, ample natural light, ventilation and air conditioning, all go towards creating an ideal environment for your event. We are experienced at organising and hosting large conferences, exhibitions and residential courses. And we do not close during school half terms or summer holidays. Saturday bookings are subject to negotiation. We also cater for early morning (continental) breakfast meetings. We offer a two course mid-day meal or finger buffet and can cater for special dietary needs. We can also organise your refreshments to meet your specific menu needs and times. Throughout the day delegates can enjoy a large variety of hot and cold drinks with biscuits. Please discuss your catering needs with the staff when making your booking. The centre is fully accessible with limited access to the IT suite and we can offer a walk-about microphone facility in the hall.
